Seattle expansion team (what I think the team might look like)

Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

I sticked to the same rules from the Vegas expansion draft, which is 7F 3D 1G or 8 skaters. I probably missed some players, I tried to fill holes so not always picking the "best player available"...and I tried to steer clear of too many veterans, even though I have some on the team (picks will come SEA's way for picking those veterans and riding the team of their contracts!). I know lots of veterans have NTC/NMC, but I think they'll be more inclined to waive them when they look at what VGK accomplished in their first year.

Of course, some of those players would be traded to other teams for draft picks & prospects and there would be at least 2 or 3 retained salary too for SEA. I didn't went that far since it's way too complicated as it is. My point is to show what a realistic Seattle team could look like. I think guys like Foligno, Smith, Panik, Heinen and Caggiula all gets traded to other teams in exchange for something like at least three 1st, two 2nd, two 3rd and 2-3 4th/5th/6th round picks + 3-4 prospects.

So, with that said and done, I really think that they might have a good team on year 1. A team that could contend for the playoffs, if Varlamov makes the saves!
