CHI is not taking on Burky's contract for a 2nd, and they definitely aren't sending Anderson back. I would rather re-sign Anderson and bet on him. $5.5 x 3 years will be more expensive to move. I doubt CHI would have any interest in MacDonald, either.

Canes don’t HAVE to move Necas to have enough cap space for Jarvis and Guentzel. That being said, I think if you swap Yams with Bjorkstrand and remove the 3rd, it’s a lot closer to what the Canes might be looking for. Kraken get someone to play on their top line with a pick, Canes get a high pick and a replacement player to play in the middle 6 at a lower cap hit. Canes might have to add a little more to get both 8OA and Bjorkstrand, but I think that might be workable.
