Fun Fact I just learned

Yeah, it's something that was brought up when Church was sent to OTT, but it's easily forgettable. I don't see a trade occurring, but maybe something as a UFA down the road.

Yeah. That was my thought. Which is why I slipped the "sooner or later" part in there. haha. I very much doubt CHI would trade for him. But, in free agency, if he makes it there and if CHI needs another dman for some reason, that could be an interesting dynamic. I don't know how close they were when Chych was growing up, but they could have a similar mentality and approach to playing the game that could have him working well in LR's systems.

I honestly barely even considered Chychrun the last time he was available. So I didn't get too familiar with him at that time. Just seemed like a lot of hype and a lot of smoke and mirrors. He still does, honestly. But, again, as a UFA with some more experience under his belt, thus giving a larger sample size, he could be an interesting target.

Just to add....I always thought Luke was a class guy. Good teammate who never complained. Happy for him that he got a shot at a head coaching job.

I honestly had completely forgotten he existed by the time CHI interviewed him. But, yeah, from what I have seen and what I can gather, he is a great guy. I'm not sure he will be the guy to take the roster to the next level. That is TBD. But, for right now in the teardown, building, and development stage, I don't think think anyone could've picked a better guy for the job.
