Description

These are the moves I propose if the Senators have a Semi slow start to the season. All a hypothetical obviously

Rosters start as is.

First off:

DJ Smith is fired and replaced with Patrick Roy,

Dorian is kept but on a extremely short leash.

Add and subtractions to the assistant coach departments and play development staff (Alfredsson etc)

Joseph has a good start to season increasing his value. (Not a negative asset anymore)

I don't think there's any scenario where the Senator's get off to a slow start and Joseph is able to increase his value to the point he's not a negative asset. He's played one small stretch of games where he earned his contract, plus the issue is the term as much as the AAV.

Montreal's certainly not doing that.
