Just exploring what a trade might look like. I see the posts about Bob Ellis's article, but I think he's missing it. the NYR have Othmann and Sykora that are pretty darn good in their own right. The Rangers need more defensive prospects. It's ironically what the Hawks have the most of too. AND some of these Dprospects aren't KD's guys. They're Bowman's guys...so it might not be as hard for KD to part with them as WE as fans might think.

Also, the NYR need LD prospects specifically. Fox/Trouba/Schneider aren't going anywhere. Obviously neither is Miller, but he's 1 guy on the left.

Can you expand on this a bit more? I'm confused as to why the Rangers would prefer a prospect that while is good...you've got good LWers already. Is Othmann not any good in your mind? What's the best D prospect in the Rangers system?
