Description
Travis Konecny
Great player for any team that has a contention window beyond the next 2 years. Carried the Flyers offense this year but doesn't fit their timeline as he'll be on the other side of 30 by the time the Flyers are in serious contention. A couple potential destinations but I think DET and EDM are two of the most intriguing.

Trade #1
To DET: Travis Konecny
To PHI: Filip Zadina, 17th overall, 43rd overall

Flyers get to add another 1st rounder in a deep draft and an early 2nd rounder (the worst of DET's 3). Zadina hopefully can get a jumpstart in the change of scenery and get close to his junior days of pocketing goals -- similar to Tippett this past year. DET gets a guy who can help them as they look to get back into the playoffs.

Trade #2
To EDM: Travis Konecny
To PHI: Dylan Holloway, 56th overall, 2024 1st round pick (EDM)

Similar value to the DET trade, EDM gets another piece to the puzzle to solidify the top-6 with a goalscorer. Parting with Holloway on the ELC will hurt but the later 2nd rounder and presumably late 1st round pick aren't going to matter when they can still win on Drai and McDavid's current contracts.

Carter Hart
Probably the least likely player to be moved but an interesting one if available. Has relative cost certainty given his RFA expire status and relatively poor basic stats compared to the league - mostly in part of playing behind the Flyers defense. OTT and LAK are two potential destinations that really make sense that also have the assets to part with to make it happen. I can see Hart getting into a similar scenario of John Gibson where he's a solid goaltender, wrong team and timing.

Trade #1
To OTT: Carter Hart
To PHI: Leevi Merilainen, Jacob Bernard-Docker, 2024 1st round pick (OTT), 2025 3rd round pick (OTT)

Hard value to truly mock considering the value of Hart is probably greater than whatever team is willing to pay. Personally a fan of Merilainen but shaky junior numbers this past year might scare others off. JBD coming on DY+6 and still isn't a regular on the team. Not sure how available Erik Brannstrom is having a deal based around him and draft picks would be interesting.

Trade #2
To LAK: Carter Hart, Adam Ginning
To PHI: Cal Peterson, Alex Turcotte, Tobias Bjornfot, 54th overall, 2024 1st round pick (LAK)

Love me some Turcotte and Bjornfot. Peterson's contract is going to be difficult to dump but I think the swap of Ginning and Bjornfot evens out all things considered. LAK gets a new era of Jon Quick, parting with sunk cost 5th overall pick Turcotte and a future 1st. Bjornfot a solid middle-pair defensemen who isn't going to light up the scoreboard.

Kevin Hayes
Fallen out of favor with the coaching staff, he is still a useful player on a contender looking for center depth. He also tried out the wing this past year so he has experience if needed to shift. Couple teams rumored to be interested in him during the deadline, think COL or CBJ make the most sense. COL got burned this postseason with lack of center depth and CBJ could utilize him playing with his buddy Johnny Gaudreau. Doubt the M-NTC becomes an issue unless they are sending him to ARI

Trade #1
To CBJ: Kevin Hayes (50% retained)
To PHI: Jake Bean, Guillaume Richard, 34th overall

Flyers get to move on from Hayes while getting a reclamation project Bean, a depth defensive prospect, and 34th overall, which might have potential to move back into the 1st round or wait to see if a 1st-round grade talent falls to 34.

To COL: Kevin Hayes (50% retained)
To PHI: Sean Behrens

Probably the most ambitious trade so far asking for Behrens straight up. He may still be untouchable, but I think if these is an unreasonable ask, 27th overall and Alex Beaucage would yield a similar value in return for me. COL gets a player who can play throughout the lineup and be its 2nd line center for a reasonable salary under 4M for the next 3 years.

Ivan Provorov
The writing has been on the wall for a while with this guy in PHI. Drafted as the team's cornerstone defensemen, he never quite sustained the hype. He had strong seasons but I think the lack of truly having a consistent RHD partner was what really killed him. Not a name as hot as Chyrchun was but I would imagine a team would pay something similar if the salary was retained down to about 5M for the next 2 years. Solid 2nd pairing guy, just ran his course in PHI.

Trade #1
To SEA: Ivan Provorov (1.75M retained)
To PHI: 20th overall, 57th overall

Hakstol gets to reunite with Provorov and he doesn't have the pressure of being the #1 defensemen on the team. He gets to play on a team with a defensive structure that fits him better and PHI gets draft capital in return. Still only 26 and has 2 years remaining, he can become an important part of a growing SEA team that spent its last two high draft picks on centers.

Even if it cost a 1st to dump Peterson (which the Kings probably wouldn't pay anyway), Hart is not worth two firsts and a 2nd.

      Kings decline.

Look like reasonable asks except Provorov deal. Maybe he rebounds elsewhere…but you’d probably be selling low right now.

Bourgault instead of Holloway? Would make more sense for Phillys time line
