Dubois Trade- This is the lowest possible value chevy would take. Don't complain montreal fans... if you want you can give us Hutson or Roy instead. We have to get a prospect like Barron in a trade like this. Dont forget he's an rfa so comparing it to giroux or kane trades mean absolutely nothing. Dont think were getting the florida first so a 2nd and 4th with a chance to possibly move up is better. Would love a center to replace dubois but only option on montreal is dvorak and i would much rather want anderson for his pk ability and size. (To protect perfetti)

Scheifele trade- Chevy shouldnt pay him close to 10 mill his 30s and his defensive play is just hurting too much. He needs a new start and carolina would be good for him. Love scheifs though. Drury's a good prospect and most importantly a center who can play now. Can possibly move up to line 2 if ready. Martinook had a decent season and is a good locker room guy. Can help build a new culture in Winnipeg

Johnathan drouin signing- controversial signing ik. Other center options are more expensive and will most likely have to sign them to a long term deal. Such as compher, rodrigues or domi. Plus domi defensively shouldnt be added to the core. Possibly toews if healthy but will most likely retire. Reason for this signing is mostly in part to perfettis injury history. We will have no centers if he gets injured.

Drouin has been disappointing but he definitly has talent. Might have upside and maybe the new culture we create can get rid of any character issues. It was between him or monahan. Both have injury issues but monahan's are more serious and he might have more options in FA.
