              If Rico and/or Silf get moved at the deadline I think its without retention, retaining on either of them would clog our retention spots up and wouldnt be efficient compared to retaining on rentals this deadline.

              If they are moved in the offseason thats when I think we retain with them being 1 year rentals at that point

              I think a goal for a team that is rebuilding should be to make 5 trades to bring back assets. If you can make more that make sense then good job! But making a trade is hard so 5 is a good goal.

              ….as guys who are probably guaranteed spots. Holtz, Foote, Gritsyuk, Wood etc may all be in there. But will probably need to add a 3C and 2LW (or similar if we shuffle around).

              Comtois could make a lot of sense in the off season depending on how things go.
