Given how likely he is to join MTL's Development staff i dont see him leaving
Like Burrows i see him finishing out his contract then Transitioning

While i think there's some teams that would sign him like they did Havlat who didnt give up hockey until 10 years after he should have.
I think Byron ,Ott and Burrows are in the same place in terms of going out on their terms finishing their final year before joining Hockey from behind the bench.

I see Byron playing the role Boullion used to in development before his Promotion
He'll be one of the Mainstay's in Brassard cutting his teeth as opposed to the Burrows AHL approach
Why different places? they offer different things with Byron's work ethic and training being what he's known for like Franky B was
Burrows had more of a mind for special teams like Ott did which is always placed at a high value.

Rather not touch Hoff. Didn't exactly have an amicable breakup in Ottawa due to the whole Karlsson's wife online bullying issue. I'd also rather just bury Zaitsev in the A than pickup a guy like Hoffman who will play, at best, on the third line and not see any powerplay time with the firepower Ottawa already has up front.

The bridge between Montreal and Ottawa closed when White was bought out. Unless you are eating Zaitsev completely, Ottawa has no interest. :/
