Tampa's not doing that

If were to waive for a team in the west, it would probably only be VGK if his buddy Pietrangelo has great things to say about the City and organization. Vegas wouldn't want to take additional cap in the trade, so wouldn't help Tampa in that sense.

The other options that he might be interested in are Flr and Tor but I don't think either team is willing to give anything of value or take on the cap. They are both in the same division as TB, so that's not going to work for them.

To move Stamkos though would be very unpopular at this stage and they would basically have to try forcing him out.
