Winnipeg's not trading Dubois

I like the trade for Jets. But you should post a 22/23 lineup showing salaries. The 8m Habs will pay Debois, the Jets can sign a UFA and how those young assets.
Let's forget the fantasy that Gallagher and his long term contract is tradable.

Dubois is untouchable, but if he wasn't that trade is terrible for the Jets. The value isn't there and It fills no needs for the Jets.

It would be highly unlikely the Jets move Dubois for a unneeded LD prospect, a run of the mill 4th liner and a decent pick as the chance of getting someone as good as Dubois is with the 9th pick is pretty slim.

Don’t think CBJ are trading both 1sts for Wright.

For a second I almost laughed at you, then I reread your post. I thought initially you said a run of the mill LD prospect. As good as Guhle and the 1st are, you are right it is not enough for Dubois but it is also too expensive for Montreal as we do need the top 4 LD prospect and our 1st is not going to be traded for 2 later picks as there will be at least two of Wright, Cooley, Nemec and Jiricek available when we get to the podium. Any of those 4 would fill a huge need for us.
