I'm going to get bashed but here it goes...I've watched the kids and maybe it's coaching but I just don't see any of the youngsters taking over the 2C role yet. At this point Cozens reminds me of a two-way 3C. Krebs is weak, gets knocked off his skates pretty easy. Mitts, well who knows as he hasn't stayed healthy long enough to get a read...closed last year strong.
I think they need an established 2C. Maybe the kids need more time and this move would give it to them. I look at Sam Bennett and think that was the case.
I think they have to go all in for a 2C...Hertl if not re- signed by San Jose, if JT Miller is available or if Trocheck doesn't resign with Carolina. It's going to take money but I feel it needs to be addressed. I took the most logical route with Trocheck.
Listening to Friedman he said he talked with Kevin Adams and Adams said he is looking for a RHD to pair with Power when he gets here and after talking with Marek they thought he was talking about by the this years TDL.
