Your Van trade is a good attempt, but I’m not sure it will work for either team. Myers is playing much better for Vancouver right now and has 1 less year on his contract. Even with the retained salary, Edmonton’s cap hit increases over the next 21/2 seasons. I don’t think that works for Edmonton who is in win now mode. The extra year doesn’t work for Vancouver who also need more scoring from the defence. Vancouver already has Poolman, Schenn and Hamonic so Ceci is redundant. I think it’s a bad match.

Dallas trade- Edmonton should NOT trade Holloway

Vancouver trade- Meh, think Van would rather keep Myers, he's been a big part of their recent success

Pens trade- Does Pittsburgh want another goalie and such an expensive one? Who's Drew O'Connor?

Tampa trade- Meaningless trade for both teams

Boston trade- About the only trade here that makes much sense as Edmonton needs goaltending help but doubt either team does it for a multitude of reasons.

In conclusion these aren't trades Edmonton should be looking at making and the other teams involved decline for their own reasons.
