I dont see why COL would do that. They are trying to win now and would be a big downgrade from their current roster. Making a trade for cap relief doesnt really make sense at this stage of free agency anyway since there are no good players to go after with that extra 5M in space - if anything they wouldve done this earlier in an attempt to keep Saad or Grubauer with the extra $$$
