Description

Since the start of last year, Vrana is 12th in the NHL in even strength goals, and first among Caps forwards in primary power play assists, while playing mostly on their second unit.

Obviously Tor would have to make other moves, here, to make the cap work. If they can move out Kerfoot for a rental, then with Andersen and Simmonds coming off next year they should have room to sign Hyman and Vrana.

That is my question as well.

It does seem as though they aren't happy with each other. Vrana's been scratched the last two games and his minutes were pretty low for a while before that. However, I'd be looking for a player that can help them now if I were Washington.

It's possible that cap could be a factor as well, but I don't think it would be all that hard to make it work.
