Description

Dadonov honestly makes zero sense in Ottawa. Ottawa is pretty horrible but has a couple of good young players. At 31 and signed for three years, he doesn't fit the timeline at all.

Matheson is much younger and would somehow manage to be an upgrade defensively for them.

Replacing unwatchably bad players with players who are mearly terrible is not how you build a team. Also that contract is an absolute non starter, there's no way Ottawa needs to handcuff themselves for 6 years when they have Brannstrom and Sanderson.
