I would think the Wild would take Bozak if the price was cheap enough just as a stopgap 3C for next year. They'll have cap space to take him without retention.

I understand you think you are a genius for making this work, but there are a few things you didn't consider.


One being this team will likely need a FA backup goalie who can play lots of games like Talbot or Smith. I understand Armstrong said he'd give Husso a look, however, after the playoffs Binnington just had I'm not so sure you want to rely on a rookie in the post season if Binningtons game goes to hell or he gets injured.


Probably going to need a better LD than Pernuovich.


You have given this team zero upgrades. A team that just lost in the 1st round. Just because you win a stanley cup doesn't mean your team is good enough to keep winning as is.
