Description

Benn fit well in MTL and could be used as a solid 6-7 dman option for them.

The Red Wings get better with this trade. Canucks get a good young player on a cheap contract.

Ottawa gets two solid young assets to take on a contract that helps them reach the floor while saving on real dollars. Helps a team which is clearly in financial troubles.

Devils could use a stop gap scoring winger on a one year deal. Especially when theres an added draft pick involved. Sven proved he can still play this season by putting up a point per game in the AHL.

The Bartschi trade is the closest of all of them, and it should at least be a 2nd rather than a 3rd. Don't see any of the other teams taking any of those deals.
