Some thoughts behind the process of this one.
-I don't see that Domi trade happen but I've seen the offer out and said to myself "Why not and see where we end up". Obviously the main target's the 7OA pick but it was said that we'd need to take something back in exchange for it, Okposo's not the player he was years ago but still able to put some points up the board and I'd see him as a stop gap until Caufield comes in (Most likely to buy out his last year). I don't want to trade Domi for an unproven prospect or a pick but if it's the only offer around I'd consider it if the management isn't sold on him cause imagine coming out the first round with two of Drysdale, Raymond, Rossi and Perfetti.
-Everyone signs Kovy on a one year deal but I'd be willing to give him 2 years if he's taking a cheap deal like this one.
-I don't see Bergevin buying Alzner's contract this summer but I could see why he'd do it. In the end we pay 400k more this season than burrying him and save 400k next season in the buyout difference cap hit and finally we've got the last two years at 833k. We've got money this year and lots of big contracts coming up so it would make sense for us to "prepay" 400k this year and save a little bit for the 2021 offseason. Once again I think they'll wait (If there's no CBO) but as explained I can see why they'd do it.
-Why haven't I seen offersheets for Ethan Bear yet on this site? Edmonton will have around 10M$ to sign/call up 6 players (1LW, 1D, 1G and 3 healthy scratch) which is doable but now if we overpay for Bear at 4M$ they'd be left with 6 and that's beginning to be tight. We pay more than we should but get a guy that fixes our third line this season and will be ready to take Petry's spot next year straight up (Or at TDL?). Bear isn't the biggest or fastest but his hockey IQ and first pass makes him a top four defender in this league already. He's got offensive upside on the long run and in three years from now we might say that 4M$ per year is a very team friendly contract if he keeps developing. Knowing that Bouchard could come in and fill the hole soon could tip the scale for this OS to go through.

One last time, I wouldn't do all these moves but I'm trying to think outside the box from the Sergachev's OS or Domi to Colorado for Graves trades.
