I'd say no from a Hawks perspective. We don't need another center (Strome, Toews, Dach). As such, moving a young prospect with high upside for one and paying a 3rd too while taking on $2M+ additive cap makes little sense.

I agree with you that a 3C would be coming back in one way or another if Kerfoot got traded whether it be in that deal or in a separate one. I'm just trying to gauge the values of a few guys. This isn't a complete thing.

I dont mind this. Personally I love dermott but at his cap hit I would rather platoon Liljegren and Honka on the 3rd pair. They could trade dermott for Jankowski and a pick, after the season he had we could give him a 1.65×3 and he would be a very good 3c. Imo spezza is a far better 4c. Hes alright on the 3rd line but if they want to get the best out of him he should be on the 4th line and fill in if theirs an injury. They have no depth if spezza goes down, engvall wasnt good as a 3c this season.

I like the rest though, demelo or gudas would be perfect for rielly.

Strome is supposedly on the block, that's why I was offering a replacement; Center depth is important. Nylander is also getting towards make or break time.
