As a Rangers fan, I'm not nearly as knowledgeable about WPG. But it seems to me that WPG had by far the most complicated offseason of any NHL team in regards to salary cap determining which RFA's and UFA's should be signed, not signed, or traded. It seems this offseason would pretty much set the direction the organisation would go in for the next several years. I have no emotional attachment to WPG, but I can't help but feel for you how much Byfuglien completely messed up everything the front office was working on this offseason. I could be wrong, but I don't see WPG trading Trouba rather instead signing him 7yrs at $8mil. As well as the trickle down effect of players signed, not signed, or traded, as a result. That premadona jerk completely Byfugliened the organisation waiting as long as he did to announce that he lost his nerve to play the game anymore! He need to announce that his pu$$y cat hurt in June, not September!

Trouba was never signing a long term deal in Winnipeg, he didn't want to play in Canada, Trouba was gone whether this happened earlier with Buff or not.
