Philadelphia Flyers signed Ivan Fedotov (2 Years / $3,275,000 AAV)

I'm told that the contract had to be a certain number to get Fedotov to come to North America.

Thank for the clarification! I was wondering why such a high AAV.

Let them vote no without understanding the situation. It was the only way to get him over here and in case people forgot, we were left in a pretty precarious situation at goaltender because of another guy that shall not be named.
Also not about to stat bomb his 3 "games" in the NHL. One of the weirder situations for any player to go through let alone a goalie. And to just be thrown into the NHL for a team trying to get into the playoffs that was a tremendous amount of pressure, couldn't have felt too comfortable.

Realistic
Meh, Bert is 29 and right around the age where players his style sharply decline. I'd rather not.
PS, I wouldn't be surprised if Kane and Ceci aren't on next years roster.
PPS, I would love Bjugstad back. Always wanted to keep him. I'm sure we could of found a way to keep him, if we didn't sign Janmark or Erne, but oh well.

I don't even see that...at some point, after 5 seasons with this season being his worst at .28ppg, Drury would love for a top 10 pick to land in his hands to trade Kaapo's RFA rights this summer. He can do a lot more on the trade market with a top 10 pick than he can with Kaapo.

I don't Disagree with hoping that. Makes it even more important to bring in another C incase he falters and is not ready for that role you can shift him to the wing still and have flexibility with mcloed still.

Edmonton Oilers signed Connor Ungar (2 Years / $860,000 AAV)
To me, this signals Edmonton is buying out or moving on from Jack Campbell and they are slotting in Rodrigue to an NHL roster next season.
Fanti, Ungar, Day, and Jonsson will fill out the ECHL and AHL teams.

yes either one will be traded or the depth chart realigned to make broberg at least the 5-6 pair and kulak 7

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>LAkingsfan77777</b></div><div>ANA wouldn't accept. they're taking on 2 cap dumb that aren't needed and they would want more for them. at least a 2nd and a later pick.
Broberg doesn't want to play for Edmonton anymore. might as well throw him in the trade with ANA. Would why EDM trade away Ceci just to get a player like Carrier. he's just a more offensive ceci and like him isn't a top 4 D. why not use the 5 mil that you used on Toffoli and spend it on a actual top 4 D like Pesce.
Also sign some other D a get Desharnais off the team, dude isn't good. you would probably be better of playing Pysyk instead of him.
Also Toffoli isn't needed when you have Kane. he's a goal scorer. just get some extra depth</div></div>
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>mk458</b></div><div>You seem to be misinformed here, not sure how much of the Oilers you watch.
Vincent Desharnais has been significantly better this season, and he's been a part of one of the most impressive analytical third pairings in the league this season. He worked super hard this off-season and it paid off. Oilers would be stupid to let him walk. But he likely gets more than 950k because other teams have been confirmed to have interest in him.
Broberg never said he didn't want to play in Edmonton. His agent came out and asked to explore trade options. His agent is notorious for stuff this, he's also the agent of William Nylander and look how Nylander "didn't want to play in Toronto". Ken Holland would have moved him before the deadline if he wasn't willing to play here, but Ken Holland specifically said that they wouldn't trade Broberg, as they see him as part of their future.
Also the creator of this ACGM specifically said that the trade wasn't to Anaheim, just that those 2 players needed to be traded.
I agree that the Oilers don't need Toffoli though</div></div>
Broberg just wanted to play he didnt want to sit in the press box or play 7 min a night. They sent him to the A where he plays almost 30mins a night and can grow. There will be changes in the off season to make room for him on the team.

Sam Carrick + a 7th for a 5th that could turn into a 4th is fair.
Henrique for a late 1st is fair.
Tampa wins for turning a 7th round pick from six years ago into a 4th round pick.

No a 4th is the going rate (see Ryan O'Reilly to TOR and David Savard to TBL trades). ARZ got a 3rd for retaining 50% on Kane

Calgary were never getting a 1st but I dunno, maybe they could have pushed harder for a better prospect than Grushnikov (whose ceiling is as a #6 D it seems). But I get the thinking of replacing Tanev with a defensive defenceman prospect

Still not as valuable as a 12th overall pick with But or Benson on the board. I’d rather they go for a hockey trade personally but I don’t mind this trade. Gives us more ammo for Saros

I don't think the value is bad at all, think it's correct for the most part but I also think there are a few other teams in the league that could offer better youth/prospects.
Would also say the 1st needs to be 2024 and not 2025.
