<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Nhl_oilers</b></div><div>I can’t see Calgary accepting that. Caufield will be a top 9 forward, Tatar that may not resign with Calgary, Lehkonen which is a good bottom 6 players, a first and a second for Tkachuk. Tkachuk is really good, and that’s a guy they should definitely keep if they want to be a good team in the future.</div></div>
So dylan Holloway will be a top 9 forward as well since he been outplayed by Caufield in Wisconsin. Caufield is A top 5 prospect around the league. You probably doesn't have a fk clue who Caufiled is. He produced at a rate that only great player had in NCAA at 19 years old. He is right their with players like Kyle Connor, Paul Kariya, Martin St. Louis, Zach Parise, Dany Heatley. The kid can score goal like no one can't. come on dude

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>gmack95</b></div><div>Maybe trade Zucker before expansion or leave exposed? Could give them Zucker to take Byron-- like FLA did with VGK</div></div>
they already have a tons of draft pick to send a players to Seattle. If Tatar is traded i assume that Bergevin will be looking for a younger pieces like he does almost every trade. I just don't see that trade happening unless they take back Byron contract to balance thing out.

Montreal Can't pick up Zucker contract. With a flat cap for the next couple of season the Habs already have commited over 20 million for their top 6 winger. They need to keep their money to pay their upcoming RFA.

I was just talking about the hyped prospect. I don't see any of these 5 players having a definite edge over another. They are all differente type of players but they all have great chance of success. I would be trill to have anyone of these players in my organiztion.

None. But is a home-grown kid, grew up a Ranger fan, plays center, and is the best prospect currently outside the NHL. NYR would be nuts not to accept a Zegras one-for-one swap for any of their wingers.</div></div>
I agree that Zegras look like a stud but he is their only center in their organization that can take Getzlaf place. Centerman are so hard to find in this league, they almost never moved. The best prospect maybe that not but he is right their with Drysdale, Caufield, Byfield, Seider. Seider have been absolutely fantastique the past 2 season against men. He would probably be Detroit best defenceman.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>buchnevich89</b></div><div>Why give up on Lafreniere after like 15 games? He has fine underlying numbers, on ice sh% is super low. All of a sudden people Tim Stutzle is better and now Lafreniere's value is the same as Kotkaniemi + a 15% chance of an nhl player? This is like when Tampa Bay almost traded Stamkos to NYR back in the day for a package of players like Dubinsky, Callahan, Girardi. Can someone give a reason why Lafreniere's value is different now than the beginning of the season other than the fact that at 19 he has 1 point after 15 games?</div></div>
i was pretty clear in the description that New york move him not because he isn't good but because they absolutely suck at center. Just take a look at the past 20 stanley cup teams and look at their center line.

how many game that Zegras have played yet ? Kotkaniemi have already been learning how to play well defensively and is ready to contribute not. Zegras is only a very good prospect who have everything to prove in the nhl.

None of these team would even entertain the ideas. Brock Boeser a 30 goal scorer without Lafreniere or Kakko not a chance. People get fire for less then that.

Maybe the players you drafted are just not good enough. Andersson haven't done anything good in LA. A coach will always use the best players he have in hand. I Think that it's something like 10% of the players drafted end up having a played 500 games or more. The biggest issue New York have if no that Zibanejad as become Zibanejad again they have no production from their center. If know one distribute the puck how can the winger do their thing. Just look at the great team in the league, the only commun thing is they have great centerline.

Montreal have no need to had anything. Centerman hokd much more value in this league then winger. Just look at what Winnipeg had to gave up for Dubois. Being a first overall pick doesn't make is value higher. If the draft where to be redo It would be Lafreniere but Stutzle that would have gone first. This is a hockey traded just like Columbus traded Johansen to grab a Jones. at this exact moment there is no question about who is the best players. I mean Lafreniere play the wing and barely fallow the play. Kotkaniemi have been a reliable center who haven't had much playing time and still produced.

First of all the closest trade are Joe Thorthon, Eric Lindros, Joe Nieuwendyk was a little bit older but he was still a elite centerman. As for the Karlson trade they had a option to swap pick 2019 to 2020 but since they have kept Evander Kane they had no choi ce but to send them their 2020 pick that have been extremely costly at this point. So Again Can you tell me where did you get your information about unprotected pick ?

Where in your imagination Mangiapane became the favorite for the selke?? A mean even if he had a oustanding season, Patrice Bergeron and Mark Stone are far ahead. A guy like Cirelli, Couturier, O'reilly, Point. A mean i done talking with you, you live in some king of parallele universe where marginal players are suddenly the best players in the league. <div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>flamesfan</b></div><div>They arent scoring well cause their coach not their players Tatar wouldn’t help Calgary and mangiapane is a rare player he has been the flames best player this year he is miles better than Byron, most teams don’t have a player like mangipane, he’s a selke favourite. Also last year mangipane had 17 goals in 68 games so he was on pace for 20. Tell me the 15 players that are like mangipane</div></div>
he is better then Byron today yeah probably but he is exactly Paul Byron 3-4 years ago. Radek Faksa, Adrian Kempe, Arturi Lehkonen, Chris Thierney, Lars Eller, Nick Bonino(maybe not anymore), Zach Hyman, Andrew Copp, Blake Coleman... all these players would have a similar impact and there many more that could replace him. Have you listen to yourself? How a 6 consecutive 20 goal scorer wouldn't be needed in any team? I mean come on man you can do better then that. I like to say that i don't think that Calgary would be looking for this kind of return for Gaudreau, but that doesn't explain that Mangiapane delirium. Tatar is a better players overall and there not even a debat to have here. But that doesnt make Mangiapane a bad one, he is just a more average guy.

Read this, mangipane is an amazing player who is extremely underrated</div></div>
I know all about Mangiapane, he is a good all around players. Just like Paul Byron was a couple a year ago. Great speed, can play anywhere in the line up. Extremely responsible defensively but they are utility players. You need to watch other game then Calgary body. I can easily find 15 players that could be swap for mangiapane and would do about the exact same. Tatar is a proven 25 goal scorer. Some year their team that do even have a 25 goal scorer. I like Mangiapane and i really think that you need a couple of them to be a good hockey team but in a utility role. Why do you think the flame have such a hard time scoring goal?

Jesus lord i just piss myself!! i can't believe that you actually convice yourself of it. You can be the best defensive forward in the league if you score 35 point no one care. every ****ing team have players like mangiapane. Scoring goal is not something everyone can do in this league and clearly is value a lot more than a guys who won't even be in the top ten of the selke this year.

If BUF did do it they would have zero interest in Tatar and Byron, and no salary cap management wouldn’t be BUF problem to balance the trade. So I think more realistically for a elite C signed long term you would need to add something of significance like another unprotected 1st or Romanov . At least that’s my take.</div></div>
And since when team can't protect their pick ? have you a reference or a comparable to support your theory?

But let say Matthews want out in is last year, the fact the he become UFA change the whole scenario. Team won't gave away all their prospect and pick just to acquire him for half of a season. Their plenty of players that where in similar situation that have gone thru this.
