Winnipeg doesn't even have a true 2C you moron. Boston doesn't have a true top 6 RW other than Pasta. Colorado has a 2nd line of players that were 3rd liners last year. I'd say Vegas is right up there with Caps Tampa and Toronto as far as top 6 on paper.</div></div>
As vegas as 2 number 2 center in karlsson and stastny. And by the way wheeler is playing center since little is out and have been doiing better then both of your center. So again you should think about responding to people without any knowledge.

I don’t think the leafs will keep barrie. They will probably goes with cheaper option like gudas or brodie. Brodie could be a very nice addition to toronto right side. Won’t need a long term deal and have been a solid defenseman for all those year in Calgary.

You are exactly proving my last statement. Price isnt worth 10,5 million, so is tavares isnt worth 11 or matthews worth 11,5 millions or jamie benn or name it. They aren’t saving life they are hockey players. You are jsut like everyone else out there who are looking only at is stats without any knowledge of how and why it is so low. Please if you don’t have any intelligent comment to gave keep it for yourself

I think he wants to lower so that when the new tv deal and gambling come into the picture he can negotiate keeping it reasonable so teams can profit more. Yes exactly and i suspect him to cook the book a little bit since all other major sport have had significant value augmentation over the last few year. With another lock out maybe on the verge he is protecting owner a little bit. I expected that if the new cba is sign before 22 the salary cap fill goes up to nearly 90 millions.

Don’t be surprised if the cap doesn’t goes up next year. The nhl and nhlpa are in negotiations and bettman is using that as a leverage against players. He already stated that nhl isn’t expecting a big increase this off season.

Hypothetical Tavares and E Karlsson on VGK
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>papishark</b></div><div>Well I mean all the insiders said they did so I think ill trust them</div></div>
Insiders have said that tavares hd a meeting in La with the list of team he was interested in. He finally had three team on is final list islanders, san jose and toronto. And islanders where offerim him 12,5 millions/8 years, san jose if i am not mistaken where offering 11,5/7years. If he was really interested in either of those team he would have chose them over toronto. He just started a bid war so toronto had to pull a few more bucks from their pocket.

The best top 6 ?? Toronto, Winnipeg, Washington, tampa bay, boston, carolina, florida, Colorado those team are loaded with high end forward not sure how can they be arguably the best top 6. Toronto have tavares, mathews, marner , nylander, kapanen and johnsson. Washington ovy, backstrom, vrana, oshie, kuznetzov, wilson. Winnipeg connor, scheiffele, laine, wheeler, little elhers.
Those team are stacked

You totally are. Since tamapa can’t actually sign them to actual market. They have 10 players at lest to sign to fill their roster with only 10 millions if the cap goes up by 2 millions thats living in wondeland my friend

Is this enough MTL
Here is simply as if you want quality players it cost quality prospect. You get 2 very good players without giving anything interesting. Mtl would want a minimum nils hoglander and another interesting prospect plus the pick package you propose and finally a established yound player. As well as some cap money to make it work.

The only players Toronto would consider for Nylander would be Andersson or Tkachuk. You don’t bait shark with broccoli. Bennett have been a third line players for 5 years now, don’t see any team trade a allstar players for him. If Bennett is traded he will probably get a return similar to burakowsky

Offer sheet
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>JTBF81</b></div><div>Lol 7 on a 3 year deal okay... Just because 1 or 2 guys were laughably overpaid doesn't mean Jack to how the lightning conduct business. The Bolts don't give their rfa's long term on their 2nd contract and the true comparable is McAvoy at 4.9. Sergachev likely takes a small amount less but in this ballpark is where the contract will line up. Werenski is also at 5 million a year on a 3 year deal. Serg at 4.5 is very reasonable given how Tampa deals with their rfa's. I've heard all this before, first how Tampa couldn't keep Stamkos, then how could they afford Kucherov, to Point is getting 9 or 10. Tampa makes it work every time and will this time as well. I expect to lose one of Killorn, TJ, Palat or Gourde and to see Shattenkirk and maybe Maroon leave as well, but Tampa has the depth to replace these losses and the team will be fine. Guys like Serg, Cirelli and Cernak are 3 key pieces to this team's long term success and JBB I believe realizes that and won't be losing them.</div></div>
If these players received offersheet the Lightning accept or let him go. Is this to hard to understand. If a team offer 8 millions to sergachev he will accept. There not a players who will take a 3 millions discount just to make you feel good about yourself. And you have to sign at least 3 defenseman and 4 forward with 10 millions if the cap goes to 83. With cernak cirelli and sergachev who will probably cost more than 10 millions so stop living in a unicorn wonderland. If a players get a offer sheet they will get in trouble more then you can simply imagine. If someone offer sheet cirelli to 5X 6 millions you really thing he will simply decline that and said ok tampa i will take your offer of 2 X 3 millions and if you want i could bend on my knee and you can fk me real hard. There not a players last year that have taken a discount these players agent are real shark and they will get the maximum

Do i trade drouin for a top players, there the difference between u and me. I can evaluate properly players with or without my club. I am nlt trying to sell to the whole world fantasy thought about how good he is when everyone know exactly what it about. You can’t face that fowler is just a average defenseman that won’t bring any special player back. Grownup and be a man once in your life.

That hertl trade is brutal for san jose. Hertl is a very good player with a nice contract. Trochek haven’t been the same since that big injury he suffered last year. Would be a good swap for san jose

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>JTBF81</b></div><div>You can doubt all you want, I'll stick with Tampa's track record of keeping their rfa's. Tampa will lock Serg up around 4.5 give or take on a 3 year bridge. He could get closer to 5 one long term deal but prolly the bridge.</div></div>
Again if you luck him on a 3 year deal werenski will be the comparable. 7 millions on three years deal. Maybe tampa will get him at 6 but there no way he will take less then that. He is on pace for 50 point this year. Comparable are all against you.

Offer sheet
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>JTBF81</b></div><div>Yeah, assuming any of those guys want to leave Tampa for likely a weaker team. More likely that the usual trend continues and Serg, Cirelli and Cernak take a little less to stay here on bridge deals. In 2 to 3 years when more cap space is likely available and other contracts can be moved then they'll get paid more. I could see Serg wanting a longer deal now and maybe JBB decides to go that route. Either way, I don't see these guys taking an offer sheet. Tampa either gets 1 of Gourde, TJ or Palat to waive, and if not then they trade Killorn and then start to make things work with the rfa's. It's a tight fit next year, but Tampa has made things work before and they'll have a solid roster to start next year as well.</div></div>
I like your enthousiasme but sergachev will be looking at provorov deal! With cernak and cirelli likely making 2 millions and 3 millions on short term deal. If a team offersheet sergachev i doubt he will refuse it. Players are playing for themselves and they want to get paid.
