<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Ledge_And_Dairy</b></div><div>I feel like specifying Colorado (a team that was utter trash until like 3 years ago and was last in the standings) really makes this post bias. Last year there were 52 wingers that had 50+ points and 61 that reached 47 (generally considered the 50 point range). 2 years ago there were 55 wingers that reached 50+ points and 70 wingers that got to at least 47pts. Idealy each competing team wants at least 3 wingers that can reach that threshold and every team wants at least 2. So if there are 31 teams in the league then that means teams should have at least 2 each and just under half of them have 3. This is of course assuming the league is much more balanced. And teams like Detroit this year aren't sitting 25 points out of the playoffs at the half way mark.

Its should also be noted that last year goalie pad sizes were decreased meaning scoring in general went up (especially early in the year), hence why players like Kucherov were able to get so many points</div></div>

I have taken the stats from the nhl official site so the center that play winger where listed as center since they have play some game at that position. Every statement made above are verifiable on nhl.com. So how can verified stats are bias? And just ask a question that you don’t even answer properly. Please read the post more carefully and your information are not good since you probably took a amateur site that compiles stats and they are not official.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>coga16</b></div><div>I added to my post saying the comp for Drouin ins JT Miller...50 point guys, 2nd line wingers signed for 3 more years. He was a 1st and a 3rd. Thats the world you live In for value, dont add extra value to him bc you think he could be more (he hasn't shown he can be in his NHL career beyond 53 points) and there is no added value in him and Mack being old line mates

He is what he is, and that is similar to JT Miller...and he didnt fetch a 1st and a top prospect either. Brayden scheen is not a comparable hes a legit C and a cap dump was involved int he trade. Drouin is a winger, he is not a C. A 2nd line Winger who has flashes of offence ability but a complete train wreck defensively</div></div>

Ahahah added after reading my comment to justify how off you where in the first place. Jt miller is a 40-50 point players who reach 50 point only once. Drouin( 2 year younger have already done it twice and was on pace for breaking that mark again this year. Brayden schenn was traded at 25 and wasn’t trade because of cap issues. Jt miller was moved to make room for brayden point they got the max they could get for him in that sense. So again your are wrong like always. Drouin is 24 and have plenty of value. You can’t even do a proper analysis. Damn i feel sorry for you. Coming from a guys who cannot make the difference from a ufa and a players with term I feel like i am wasting energie since you are probably a little kids who still lets is mom choose is clothing in the morning. Its always the same thing when you comment post. Players hatred, every players that doesn’t play in colorado aren’t good and shouldn’t play in nhl. But a guy like timmins who haven’t done anything is better then more then half of defenseman playing in nhl. Every single team would trade for jonathan drouin if the price was a prospect and a 1 round pick. Even joe sakic would do that trade since he isnt a total troll

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>coga16</b></div><div>Stop overestimating every Habs player and prospects, you go on a soap box every time.
Avs do not want Drouin, so hes dreaming that they would give up Timmins who they didn't want to include in a Hall deal. In what world do you think Sakic would include Timmins for a lesser player. If you cant comprehend that then there is no hope for you

Its not me who is over estimating prospects and picks, its just actual reality</div></div>

There nonreality in saying that timmins is just a good prospect and nothing more than that. The kid can still be a total bust and never have succes in Nhl that whybthey are prospect. Drouin is a established 50 point winger that a facts. Timmins is a real good ahl defenseman thats another fact. If he where that good he would be playing in nhl. And i will use simple word since it’s always seem complicated for you to understand simple thing. Hall was a unrestricted free agent at the end of the season. So Colorado would have gave up assets just for this year if Hall have decided to test the market. Drouin is sign for 4 more years at a nice average. The fact that Hall is a better player have nothing to do with the situation here because both players are in complete different situation. You can’t even make the difference between those 2. The trade proposal here was for drouin and 4 years at 5,5 millions. The blues traded 2 first round pick and lehtera for 3 years of brayden scheen. That a comparable. A comparable is a trade or a signature that happen before. That what team use the evaluate players or what they are looking for when they trade players.
