<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>redw1n9s</b></div><div>I understand English perfectly well, which is why what you said made no sense. Everyone thinks their teams' prospects are "studs" but more often than not they are not. In fact, usually they are not even close. Pod is barely an NHL caliber player right now. Hoglander is decent, at best. You haven't even touched upon the lackluster D. As I've said, this team is in no position to be giving up multiple 1sts.

You're clearly out of your element here.</div></div>

Podkolzin could have played in the canucks bottom 6 this year. He has a great defensive game that allows him to be at minimum a bottom 6 player. Its whether or not his offensive game develops that will signify if he can be a top 6 forward. His current production in the playoffs gives hope as he's still not getting a ton of ice time. But he's showing he can put up numbers in limited minutes.

Hoglander has produced at a 3rd line level this year which is fairly good considering he has been in matchup roles with horvat and Pearson against the top lines in hockey. His defensive zone time is about 55% due to this. If he gets more offensive zone time I can see him progressing with a higher production rate.

As to the defense, Juolevi is very good defensively. He was kept out of the lineup because green likes a veteran presence but Juolevi is phenomenal at passing the puck out of the zone. He has the tools to be a top 4 defenceman. He was another player getting mostly defensive zone ice time, and he actually formed a solid pairing with Myers who is terrible defensively.

As for rathbone, you may not be aware of him? But a quick scouting report and history on him is that he has good upside. His strengths are his skating and playmaking. He dominated in college by putting up just over a ppg, and currently that offence has transferred to the AHL where he's put up 9 points in 8 AHL games. He dominated the games too, he's not a floater, he had 7 shots on goal last game. He has good offensive instincts and so far he's also showing that he can be a force defensively as well. Not a physical player but relies on his positioning to retrieve pucks.

Im very knowledgeable on prospects. In fact I'm very knowledgeable on some wings prospects too If u ever wanna talk prospects.

With another top 10 pick this year the canucks will have all the youth they need. Its about filling in the gaps after that.
