Savard can play top 4 minutes if someone goes down. I don't trust Foligno can. Plus Leafs already have enough veteran forwards. If the Leafs pick up a forward I want someone younger that can skate. You know someone like Robertson.

Funny I don't see Holl not being in the lineup. He's not being replaced. Holl I great. I really like him. Are there better dman in the league 100%. Is ekholm better yes he is. Holl on the 3rd line is fine. Why wouldn't you want him there. If holl is on your 3rd line that means your defense is good. Plus pushes one of Dermott/Bogo out which is good incase of a injury

Buffalo’s front office situation has been a mess this year
They basically fired everyone & decided to go with a combo of Adams as new GM and our coach Ralph Kruger as the decision makers- with our coach actually taking the lead as far as what players he wanted here.
But things went to hell so quickly for us this season, that it became apparent Kruger was gonna be fired at some point.
So with the leading decision maker headed out the door, pretty much all talk of extensions got out on hold for upcoming UFAs & hasn’t really been addressed yet.
Buffalo is expected to hire an AsstGM any day now though,
and then those extension talks should heat up- as well as trades for those we aren’t extending.

To sum it all up in a nutshell, we were just a disaster this season.

Maybe Ullmark won’t wanna come back?
He hasn’t indicated one way or the other to my knowledge.
And i do think there will be some teams interested in him, but in more of a 1a/1b type situation- bc like i said before- he’s not “proven” to be a “good” starter (he’s just “decent”) and he’s hurt a lot

But i guess we’ll see how it all plays out

No, they really aren't. You have absolutely no idea how andersen will play when he returns lol. He has sucked for a while and for all we know it could take time for him to become good again. The present is what matters, and presently... he sucks.

Tavares has 4 more seasons at $11M per with $7M+ of it as a bonus payment in each of those years... during a cap freeze for at least one or two more years. I'm anxious to see how that trade plays out for Toronto.

Hawks can only retain on one more contract. I 100% understand TOR retained $1M on Lehner's deal last year, but TOR wasn't a seller last year and Lehner was a pending UFA. Very different situation for the Hawks this year. They can't do this.

Hey analytics are great, they tell you something but not everything. I do feel those analytics numbers would look a little bit different playing behind a defense like Toronto's.

Don't get me wrong, I think you and I are on the same page about Andersen. Infact, I started believing that Andersen is not the goalie for this team at the beginning of last season and that was an unpopular opinion back then.
