Have you ever seen Ekholm play? Top 4 dman, Big frame, minimal mistakes, and a good all around dman. I'll take that for a playoff push, and Nashville won't just give him away. And please don't Dermott is better than him.

It absolutely is. Holl has been terrific all year. Never a weak link but the dummies will still say, "he isn't a household name!". And want a replacement. To a huge group on here, all defenceman from other teams are better than Holl, Dermott and most of our forward crew.

Funny I don't see Holl not being in the lineup. He's not being replaced. Holl I great. I really like him. Are there better dman in the league 100%. Is ekholm better yes he is. Holl on the 3rd line is fine. Why wouldn't you want him there. If holl is on your 3rd line that means your defense is good. Plus pushes one of Dermott/Bogo out which is good incase of a injury

I mean I like our defense currently. Dermott been quiet. But being quiet is also good means your not ****ing up. Bogo is playing as we want him to. Our top 4 is good. Rielly isn't play as he did before but still great. Brodie is playing so ****ing good

I'll put it this way. Do you think Toronto would lead the division if it was the same as last years (with Tampa, Boston, Florida) AND have the lowest GAA as well? McDavid and Draisatl are superstars, but they can't play 60 minutes a night. Edmonton is an average team with two elite players.
