I think Sissons doesn't get enough respect for his defensive play, face off ability, or leadership, but it is time to start revamping the center core. Between Svechkov, Glass, and Pärssinen, the Preds have a solid foundation to take over from Johansen, Granlund, and Sissons over the next 2-3 years. No true number one guy though. Hopefully the answer falls to NSH at 17OA this summer.

I wouldn’t do the Bruins trade. We could probably get that return without two cap dumps. Lukewarm on Dallas and Minny deals too.

But adding a couple of picks at deadline would be nice to use as ammo at draft to add a player or two.

I figured someone would say something about McLeod.
I personally have been really impressed with him - he has accepted his role and improved at it.

Last year, he was still trying to stick-handle his way through guys. You could see he still wanted to be offensive center.
This year, he gets rid of it quickly. Has really matured.

Tatar has certainly improved as year as progressed, but I think he is at times a bit of a selfish player and that always kind of bothers me.

Most of those guys play in AHL.
Don't want to stunt their development sitting in Utica skybox (or 2nd floor...or whatever they got up there).

I would take the deal....but just immediately buy him out.
And would still probably prefer just Koskinen and Bear if thats an option.

I agree. I think Kulikov will fetch a healthy return.
