I think on this Devils team, Pinto easily becomes a 50+ point guy. The Devils love having another center on Jack's line so technically you could have Pinto taking Jack's faceoffs instead of Haula. You'd then have

Holtz could be a 40 goal scorer he is 1 year removed from having one of the best U20 AHL seasons of all time (2nd in goals per game 6th in points per game) there's a lot of really good names around him on that list. I'm legitimately curious if Pinto is actually that good or just fan delusion from what I've seen he's just a solid player with a good shot

For sure but the fact that people are acting like Holtz is barely acceptable is crazy if Holtz hits he's probably a top 10 goal scorer while Pinto is someone you pay 5x5 in free agency or rent at the deadline to push your team over the edge

Oh it's definitely more than barely acceptable, don't get me wrong, it would be considered if Pinto was a hold-out. He needs more then 28 games in the NHL before you basically straight-swap him with a late 5th rounder.

Pinto is a year and a half older you can't hold 1 35 point season over the head of elite potential

Pinto was back after missing a whole season and put in a role he wasn't ready for (due to Norris injury)
