The Bergeron effect
Remove the 1st and add Forbort. That's a more appropriate return for Miller's albatross contract.

Bruins 23-24
I can understand all sides of the argument so far.
The kid seems to be a PPG player in the AHL, and projections seem to have him at around 2C. He hasn't made it work in the NHL yet (although I'm not sure how he was deployed). If the Wild have concerns at C, particularly with their cap situation, then they won't move on from a potential future 2C who is still cost controlled.
And if the Bruins were to try to trade for him, then it seems like Lysell, who to me seems like a 2RW, would probably need picks attached to make it worth considering. Throwing in Zboril and Regula don't really seem to help with anything, so lets just take them out. A second and third rounder, considering how few picks the Bruins have, seem like a lot given their situation for someone who may still flame out.
I think there will be less risky moves for the Bruins to make to improve their C situation later.

That bruins team was so stacked and underrated, they folded in the playoffs, but just remember every goalie ever shipped to Winnipeg and none of them seemed the same, from essensa, to cheveldayov to whoever. Need a homegrown answer. Just a personal phobia lol

Remove Zacha and Backlund/2nd and add a prospect from Boston (Poitras). You have the basis for a deal.

This is a good point. I also think that if Boston brings back Bergeron, and brings in scheifele, and rolls Bergeron - Scheifele - Coyle down the middle, they don't really take a step back. You guys would need to dump a ton of salary to make that work though.

It has nothing to do with Lysell value, it has to do with need. They simply don’t want or need a 34 year old middle 6 rental center they won’t extend and are not giving up pieces they do need for 1. It’s piss poor roster management.
Lindholm on the other hand…1st/Lysell/Grizz… or something similar, B’s are all in.
As far as cap goes they have 6.2m currently. But Wotherspoon and Megna are not going to be with big club so it’s closer to 8.
Sway and Freddy are going to take roughly 6.
So you both your logic and your math makes your claim under your avatar false advertising. 🤷🏻♂️

Bedard/ fantilli/ carlsson are unproven, all of them haven’t played a damn game in the nhl yet. You think their respective teams are gonna move them for backlund?
Mcdavid at one point hadn’t played an NHL game you think they would had moved him for backlund because he’s proven?
Lysell shows potential and for a team that needs to get younger and is about to retool until he proves us wrong he will hold a lot of value for us.
How about Boston counters with Matthew Coronato for Charlie Coyle, sounds fair you know because coyle is a “proven” shutdown 3C
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>princessTom</b></div><div>Put it this way, take out Grz AND Lysell, still wouldnt trade a 5th for Backlund + Gilbert. BOS doesnt need a 34yo 3C and an 8th Dman, let alone trading away a top 4 LD + one of their top prospects

Maybe the Canes can swap out Forbort for Grzelcyk? That's more of a traditional cap dump, in my eyes.

I think Grier wants some kind of return on futures. He's going to have to retain 3-4M to get that kind of return. 2.5M is not going to get them much more then a cap dump and 2nd

The EK65 delusions in Pittsburgh are getting pretty bad. SJ is taking one and only one cap dump back.. Petry, Granlund or Carter not multiples
