Toews Trade When Healthy
I think the trade package for Toews would be fair if there wasn't a pick in there. Buchnevich is a really good winger who can play 1RW for multiple teams. Chytil is an average player but still has potential, and Georgiev last season showed that he could be a #1. In return, they're getting a 2C who would be a 1C on some teams and a good DFD. Delia might have a future as a backup.
It just seems like the Rangers are giving up a tad too much.

RD Option of Dumba
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Hammerwise</b></div><div>Dumba slightly younger and more well rounded, a RD whoi can play top 2 pairings, which Philly lacks.
Ghost has played solid since return from COVID and is over the injuries of the past 2 yrs, BUT, he is a risky proposition to return to the 60+ PT form he had 2 yrs back, therefore the low 1st rounder and one of the best forward prospects around is included. Frost looks so good, but in Philly hes buried by the depth (youngsters Lindblom, Farabee, Patrick and vets Hayes, Coots, Giroux, JVR, Voracek are all top 6 guys). Frost has top 6 offensive talent, but like a lot of guys out of juniors, not a solid defensive game.
He is Philly's 13th forward, but with JVR, Lindblom and Patrick all playing so well, Frost is on the outside looking in.</div></div>
Ah ok that makes sense. Thanks for the response

(CBJ/WPG) - Dubois and 3rd for Laine, Roslovic
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>INeverPlayedHockey</b></div><div>Youre comparing Laine’s weakness to Dubois’ strenght. Amazing analysis 🙃</div></div>
huh? I swear that most of the game is played 5-on-5? Also, I don't think I talked about either player's defense and I think it's unanimously agreed that Laine's weakness is defense.

Chicago Blackhawks signed Madison Bowey (2 Years / $725,000 AAV)
Signed for expansion draft reasons. He doesn't give you anything else except depth for the taxi squad.

RD Option of Dumba
This is an intriguing package for Dumba.
I don't see why you would want to move from Gostisbehere to Dumba when Dumba is a slightly better right-handed version of him. Though based on current form, I get why, but overreacting to the start of the season is not a good move.
Rubtsov probably doesn't have any value anymore.
The first will probably be late 10's so I'm not opposed to it especially considering that the draft is weak. Does Frost not have a high upside anymore, or why is he in this deal?

(CBJ/WPG) - Dubois and 3rd for Laine, Roslovic
I don't see how people view this as a win for Columbus. With Laine, they're getting a borderline 5-on-5 liability whose numbers are better cause of his PP play. Roslovic will be a good future middle-six winger/center but won't ever be known for posting many points rather known for elite defense. Dubois is an elite play driver and could easily post 80+ points in the future especially if he plays with Scheifele. People are overrating Laine's value here. The only way Winnipeg loses if they utilize Dubois in the wrong way. I would love to see a line of Dubois - Scheifele - Ehlers.
Overall it's a fair deal for both. Torts will have a negative impact (or maybe positive you never know) on Laine's 5-on-5 play but will make Roslovic one of the best 2nd liners in hockey.

Columbus Blue Jackets signed Jack Roslovic (2 Years / $1,838,362 AAV)
He's one of the better role players who can be moved around the middle six. His defense was already showing promise in Winnipeg so under Torts I can see it taking a leap to being elite. This is a really good deal for a possible future shutdown line player. His offense shows some potential maybe a max of 45 points. Overall a really cheap deal for someone who really wants to be there.

(COL/MIN) - Cole for Pateryn
Decent trade for both sides. Ian Cole is a slightly better version of Pateryn what gives the Wild more defensive depth (not like they really need it tbh). And the Avs free up some cap space. Seems like a fair deal to me.

Talbot-not by much, he's comparable to Khudobin and Greiss who got similar contracts at similar price points for similar terms lengths. If he’s overpaid, it's only by a couple hundred thousand. That's not really a issue in the grand scheme of things.</div></div>
Thing is Khudobin is about 3 times better than Talbot and got paid less. It makes no sense for the Wild to pay him that much

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Radu47</b></div><div>Honestly Mike Smith at 2M is worse than all of these lol someone needs to convince Holland to retire asap</div></div>
Holtby vs Smith
Basic stats:
SV%: 89,7 - 90,2 (Smith)
GAA: 3.11 - 2.95 (Smith)
SO: 0 - 1 (Smith)
Analytical stats:
LDSV (low shots): 26 - 69 (Smith)
MDSV (midsection shots): 55 - 2 (Holtby)
HDSV (high shots): 9 - 5 (Holtby)
Rebounds against/60: 37 - 88 (Smith)
xGA/60 (expected goals against): 37 - 72 (Smith)
GSAx (goals saved above expectations): 24 - 42 (Smith)
Smith is arguably better than Holtby and makes only half of his salary

Imagine resigning Goldy but not Edler.... Imagine not having Demko as the backup... Imagine thinking that having Juolevi on the 3rd pairing after he suffered a big injury just a few weeks ago and won't be coming back until training camp.... This site truly is unrealistic

GM league
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>tkecanuck341</b></div><div>It's apparent that you don't know much about the Kings.
The Kings will only move Carter if they get a center back in return. Kempe is absolutely terrible at faceoffs (we're talking 30% win rate), and there's not a lot of help further down the lineup. Kopitar took 3x more faceoffs than anyone else on the team last season while Carter was out with injury.
Brodin might be a slight upgrade over Muzzin, but this trade doesn't solve any of the Kings problems. They essentially are looking to solve two problems:
1. When Doughty's extension kicks in and extensions are given to Iafallo and Kempe next season, even with no roster moves and a moderate cap increase, the Kings will be over the cap by more than $2 million. They need to offload some salary to fit.
2. After Doughty, the Kings don't have a top-four RHD.
They'd be willing to move Pearson, Toffoli, Muzzin, and/or Martinez in order to solve these two problems, but they're not dissatisfied with any of these players. The trade you suggest adds over $2M to the Kings cap, further compounding problem #1, and Brodin is a LHD, meaning he doesn't solve problem #2.
There's absolutely no reason for the Kings to make this trade.
Don't get me started on your lineup decisions. This is a much worse team than the Kings iced last year.</div></div>
First of all this team is in a GM league (basically a bunch of people being the GMs of the NHL)
2nd, my cap space is horrible rn but when I'm aloud to make trades again I'm losing Brown and I get 4 Mil in cap space and I can play my best roster then
