And this trade isn't for a rental either - there's a 7 year extension for Chychrun

LMAO. He hasn't even hit his prime yet and is coming off of back to career years in goals and points. He easily has 35+ goal potential. He is THE perfect age for a rebuilding team at 25. We just signed him for 8 years at an extremely team friendly cap hit of 6.2 million. I wouldn't trade him straight up for Chychrun (whose play and value has gone the opposite direction since leaving Arizona) with a new contract in place, let alone give up a 2nd round pick as well. Your offer makes zero sense for the Flyers and is bad in terms of value. Does that answer your stupid questions.

Hate to be that guy, but watch highlights of Owen Tippett. He’s one of the fastest players in the league, he can score goals pretty much any way you want him too, and he occasionally makes plays that look like goal of the year candidates. He’s not a star, but the organization very much believes they can get him there. No one else on the team can do what he does right now and they just signed him to an 8 yr deal. He’s not going anywhere, especially not for that package.
