Man, that is a deal I would get behind. Then we pray TK is willing to extend.

Joseph has more value than laughton do to him being younger and better, does the difference in value between Chych and TK gap dropping down from 7th to 12th? i dont think it does

Jackets decline. Cam can sign a one day contract when he decides to hang them up but there’s no room on the roster for him right now

How do you keep peddling this nonsense? He isn't better than Laughton. He plays a bigger role, has more TOI, plays on the PK, and even in a down year, still outscored Joseph. You're absolutely nuts to think Joseph is better than Laughton

Swap in Cates instead of the Florida first round pick and you have a deal.

I think Joseph and Laughton are similar, but Laughton has more seasons of good play over Joseph. Konecny is exactly what this team needs. If he extends for a reasonable amount I don't see the drop between 7 and 12 being that bad of a price to pay. One of Helenius, Sennecke, Yakemchuk, Eiserman at 12 is still a good prospect.

they are similar players, but do to Joseph being 3 years younger and being better than laughton he has more value. and if TK wants more than 8M on his next deal pass. 10M is ridiculous for a guy who never hit 70 points

All of that plus dude acts like being 27 instead of 30 is some big deal when it is completely meaningless. He must be on dope.

He isn't better.

The difference between 27 and 30 is meaningless.

TK's agent agent is ASKING for 10 million. You apparently don't even have a basic understanding of how negotiations work if you assume their initial ask is what he will ultimately get.

Your last comment might be the dumbest yet which is saying something. TK has 30+ goals and 61 and 68 points the last two seasons despite missing 28 games. He has 129 points in 136 games over the last two seasons and done so on a bad team with the worst PP in the league. So while you correct technically, you are full of ishe since TK has clearly established himself as a 30-40 goal nearly PPG winger.

I actually enjoyed this post, I like the Ottawa deal from both sides and I actually think the Canucks would be interested in Risto. Mikheyev is the perfect dump and a Russian guy for MM. like the Farabee deal too. Don’t know what to do with Cam. He is a Boston guy, maybe the Bruins like Cam at half retained @ $2.9 mil if they lose DeBrusk? Not sure. Wouldn’t be a huge fan of brining Johnson back, but I think it’s something Danny would do, similarly to Staal, if he trades Risto.

Thanks.

The idea behind the Vancouver deal is that they want to dump Mikheyev and we want to dump Risto. It looks like Vancouver will lose Zadorov so Risto can replace him and we give Michkov a Russian to play with to make his transition easier.
