I can honestly see the trade being Ullmark for Chychrun, one for one.

I mean with some of the things certain bruins fans have been wanting, anything would be underwhelming. I thought the Bruins 1st OR Chychrun 1 for 1 would be fair value. We will see if its less than that, in which case it would indeed be underwhelming.

Well looking at their tweets, seems like they heavily overvalued Ullmark, so it makes sense why they would say the return is underwhelming. They believe Ullmark could fetch the 7OA + Pinto LMAO.

emptynetters dont really break news there just a hockey account and grinnell seems to be going off EN (not 100% sure). he has more people that he knows that may tell him things but i doubt he would say anything until an actual source leaks it or else it doesnt look good. much like how most former NHLers who have a platform tend to know a thing or 2 but wont dare to say anything
EN also heavly OVERVALUES ullmark to a crazy degree. imo ullmark is chyc + ott 2nd but they think 7oa or pinto type value

I think adding a mid-pick (3rd/4th) from Ottawa's side makes sense. Both guys on expiring deals, but a starting goaltender (which is what Ullmark would be for Ottawa) is a more valuable position than a 2nd pair LHD.

Oh I didn’t disagree with you, I’m just saying that, given the reports of an underwhelming return, one for one is actually in the realm of possibility. It’d be much to the dismay of Bostonians.

With that said, I think it’s much more likely that Chychrun would extend with BOS than Ullmark extending with OTT.
