That's an easy no for the Leafs. There's nothing there with any value. Only thing that might be mistaken for value is a small 22 year old who has been having trouble in the AHL and hasn't even been able to crack the Sharks' roster. Why would anyone want to pay for him? He's got waivers written all over him next season.

Its not a terrible compensation tbh. But if the Sharks want to get him, has to give the Vegas 2025 first round draft pick at least.

I doubt San Jose gonna get 3 former Jets players in FA. But I can see one of Dillon or DeMelo coming back. A Sean Walker or Alexandre Carrier would be good options as well. I would prefer to use Celebrini as 2C

I did noticed at the beginning as well, im very skeptical that would happen. I would prefer to send celebrini to the top 6 so he can be surrounded with the productive players we have and can develop along with Smith and produce. I would rather spend it on a complementary top 6 forward like Teuvo Teravainen, that for sure help the young core.
