I’d rather have my pick of player at 7 than hoping the right one falls to 12 if I were Ottawa. That 7 through 12 range has a stinker or two in there.

As a Bruins fan, I probably would be happy if Ottawa traded down because it likely makes a higher pick available to Boston in a trade. I wouldn’t do that deal if I were them

I like Laughton, but he’s not worth all that. Most I’d pay would be top 40 pick and B prospect.
