I actually like Konecny but in no world does Ottawa add 7oa to offset zamula and 31st.

If anything Ottawa would leave zamula and 31st out of the deal and simply add a 2nd if needed.. which I’m not convinced is even necessary. Both on expiring deals after good seasons, chych is also younger. I don’t think the difference in value is nearly as vast as this trade makes it seem.

Also the Buffalo deal is way way off. They wouldn’t even consider that. Two premium assets for two good but not great players and a 3rd. I’d imagine they’d pass without thinking twice.
