Weekes posted a picture of Steen in a quote tweet of the announcement. PuckPedia clarified that they weren't involved in this after originally tweeting the eyes. I was thinking it could be an ECHL affiliate but after the Weekes tweet it's probably Steener. And from what I've heard there wasn't a press conference last time they announced an AGM so..... bigger.

It just HAS to do with Steen... right? Even yesterday, the Blues social media posted a few Steener pics about all the celebration. Believe Steen was their last post too. Just things seem to be lining up that way

I think the Buchnevich trade is good. I would do it.
I'd try and say keep your 2nd and I'll keep Strbak though.
Would offer Johnson in lieu of Novikov if you wanted more value to make that happen.
Our D prospect pool is just really thin already.

That's our biggest issue too is a weak D prospect pool. especially on the left side. Wouldn't mind either of Johnson or Novikov, but would prefer Novikov. Could keep Strbak. That was overshooting the ask

Agreed, but with Army having all his Canada Hockey duties, he may be overwhelmed too and thinks Steener could be ready sooner

Rangers have no interest in selling low on Kakko either. Better to just sign him to a new deal, which will be affordable, and be patient with him.

An overpayment for Buch by any standard, and more extension nonsense.
The Faulk/Bennett exchange hurts the Panthers on the ice and doesn't help their cap at all.
I wouldn't worry about the Sabres making the playoffs. The Blues have too many poor contracts with aging , fading players to get better soon.
