Trades definitely seem to be best case... But I don't mind the lineup and can see the lineup working. Would rather a puck mover over Pesce as our team defence really struggled with getting the puck out their zone this past year. We need puck movers too hence why we tried Klingberg. This lineup basically have Reilly to provide offense from the defense. With hoping players like Pesce, McCabe, and Kulikov all of a sudden dramatically improve their puck moving skills.

Kampf isn't worth a 4th. He's a cap dump (in Caps perspective at least since they have Dowd and a few AHL guys who could play that 4th line center

Winnipeg isn't helping Toronto out with their cap problems by paying to take on a bad contract.

I think the trades are pretty fair. Also, we can’t afford to get a stud right shot defensive d man and a puck mover too. Maybe next year.

You guys kill me😂😂 you throw around the line “ cap dump” like he’s not living up to his value. He only makes 2.4 lmao. Hes good defensively, wins faceoffs, plays PK. Caps could use all of that

Would you rather a puck mover or a guy that can defend well and play with Reilly? Maybe next year for the PMD

Winnipeg sucks my guy, they need to make changes. I didn’t know that having a guy that can play centre and both wings, defends well, is decent offensively making 2.1 for 2 more seasons is a cap dump🤡😂

Lol. Yet they're better than Toronto. He's actually one of Toronto's better players. You should hang onto him.

They both suck but Toronto is better than Winnipeg. Winnipeg got absolutely obliterated in the first round, it wasn’t even close. Made Helle look like he was playoff in quick sand. Plus Toronto won both games against Winnipeg in the regular season😂🤡

Generally you need a puck mover on every pair. There is only Rielly here and TO got hemmed in constantly in the playoffs because no one beyond Rielly had any ability to move the puck. Liljegren can but he was hurt in the playoffs and clearly had lost a step due to injury.

And yet you guys got absolutely blown up by Colorado. Made absolutely no challenge for the avs. Just bitter small man syndrome here if I have ever seen it.

McCabe is a lot better of a PMD than given credit for but I’d take solid defence over puck moving ability any day

Jarnkrok at 2.1 Million is really solid for a 3rd round pick. Unfortunately, the Jets have like 4 other players that fill the same role as him. It's probably a better trade fit somewhere else.

Enjoying your 1 playoff series victory since Matthews was drafted i see. Now we're comparing 1st round losses. This is sad.

You’re losing toffoli and most likely ehlers. Jarkrok for 2.1 who plays PK and can play C, LW, RW is a massive steal.

Eh, one more serie win than Winnipeg😂😂 your goaltending was supposed to be your strong suit and he was Swiss cheese😂

Rome wasn’t built in a day, kid. The leafs need a defenceman who can play solid defence. We can worry about a good PMD after next season when Marner and Tavares contract is off the books

I’m glad you like him so much! I wouldn’t say he’s one of the most underrrates in the league but honestly he’s MUCH better than a lot of these tools make him out to be
