Don't really see the point of the Blues aquiring Gourde. We are retooling and trying to get younger so getting a 32 year old on a 1 year contract doesn't fit into that

why would any team trade a career 25 goal scorer and 55-60 point player on an expiring contract for a bunch of late round picks when they can get up to a 1st for him from another team, quality not quantity

Could be a 2C option for the year if Dvorsky isn't ready. And if DD is ready, can slot Yanni to the wing then potentially flip at the deadline if he plays well. I don't hate it, but 2nd could be a touch much... maybe a 3rd and 5th instead if anything

Yep. Not a game changing trade, but I love his work ethic. Wouldn't mind another low cost acquisition like Iafallo, as well. Hard working physical role players who go out and do their job, shut down top players, and help keep games close.
