Dont think Ullmark gets you back Boone, let alone Boone Jenner and a 2nd.

And why would SEA want Geekie back?

Why would you want to get rid off Geekie for Dumoulin?

I'm not familiar with boone jenners game is he actually that good that he has more value than goalie 1 year removed from the vezina. I know he had some insane defense that season but still.

Jenner is one of the premiere two way leadership guys in the league, not going to be a ppg player, but does everything you want and does it for a pretty low 3.75mil. Hes easily worth a 1st.

Ullmark is a 5mil expiring UFA who is a backup in BOS at this point, that they need to dump to resign their number one. Does he get a 1st from somebody? Maybe.

But why does a rebuilding CBS want a 5mil expiring UFA goalie?

I see. I will say that ullmark wouldn't need to be moved to resign swayman it's just an idea being thrown around and at this point I dont even know his value, i've seen people saying he goes to ottawa for Chychrun a first and a 4th and other people saying he could probably only get boston a 2nd and a 3rd. As to you're CBS is rebuilding comment, they wouldnt want ullmark I was just curious about what jenners value was.

Jenner's value is hard to pinpoint so you'll usually see Jackets fans on this site (and apparently Flyers fans, hi Hammerwise) inflating it or shortcutting to say he's simply not available. Which is true based on public statements from ownership down to the player himself last season. He's franchise leader in games played. Captain on a very young, chaotic team. His internal value just exceeds what any other team would rightfully pay to acquire him (in a vacuum that's a first and a prospect, maybe a little more considering how cheap his contract is, but again, you have to convince the team to let him go). Like in a vacuum is a goalie a season removed from a Vezina a good start for a larger Jenner trade? Of course. But Columbus certainly isn't adding a pick along with Jenner to acquire a soon-to-be UFA goalie with a NMC he isn't waiving for Columbus while they're rebuilding. Plus there's the extra opportunity cost here in having to move Elvis or lose Tarasov, and then to pay Ullmark next year.

Seattle would want Geekie back. Only reason he wasn't qualified is that he had arbitration rights and RF seems to do everything to avoid that process.

Jenner has never put up 50 points in a season. He only has this year and next on his contract.
But he’s the perfect fit for the bruins right now. His two way game at center and size is what the bruins need.
So I do think this is a fair trade.

Fair points. But Jenner only has 2 years on his contract too. I do believe CBJ wants a shake up in the crease.

If you decide to bring heinen back then there’s no room for geekie. It’s one or the other. A Geekie trade for dumoilin looked better than no Heinen and a D UFA.
