Description

Buyout Atkinson, Stuck with Risto until he can show he can be healthy and be a good defenseman. No one will trade for cootes after two back surgeries and a crap year. Michkov comes next year with Bonk and Denver Barkley. Have a good draft this year hopefully finish the year with a top 10 pick and have a good draft . 3 drafts in a row with 2 first rd picks if not more. Rebuild should be over by Michkov 2nd or last year of his entry level contract. For now just get rid of bad contracts and players who won't be part of the future and develop all the young prospects that are going to be part of it.

You can likely sign Robertson for less than what Frost is making and they are essentially the same player. There’s really no upside for Toronto

Frost plays C, where we are short of candidates and Robertson a winger, where we have lots of options.

I don’t see Florida or Seattle accepting that. I just don’t see a TK fit for Seattle. Florida package is brutal. I’d be interested in both Toronto and Winnipeg trades more so Winnipeg

Holmberg - I could live with but not ideal.
Minten - 98% sure he starts with Marlies.
Cowan - I hope he makes the team and I would bet he gets 9 game ‘tryout’ but I doubt it would be at C
