I’m at the point that I just don’t see why Minnesota should do a swap of 10 and 13 that involves Gus and a meh piece. There is minimal difference in the expected players from pick 8 through pick 14 or 15. Keep the starting goaltender and take Brandsegg-Nygard or Sennecke or Eiserman if he falls.

Why? Casey is like a right handed Quinn Hughes LITE. Rasmussen is a big physical player that is important to have but certainly not irreplaceable by any means.

Trading Casey for Rasmussen is a terrible idea.

They already have a better version of him on the right side, the wings have a small forward group and you are taking their top big guy who can play anywhere in the middle 6 while being great in front of the net and defensively. There's no reason for wings to make this deal, Casey might not even transition to nhl great
