For Turcotte and 1st, full retention should be on the table.

With the Sabres current build the way it is, I'd pass on Spence. Power is big, but he's soft as melted butter. A defensive minded d with a mean side would balance the pairing out, much much better to me.

If Spence is on the trade block, I think Vancouver or Nashville should get on that. Nucks could give up Podz if they could get something else as well, Preds could offer Parssinen or a 4th and Del Gaizo.

Call me crazy. But I wouldn’t be surprised if LA was on there. Gibson wouldn’t have to pack up his family from SoCal and his wife and children wouldn’t have to change anything.
