Necas isn’t signing long term.

Necas' deal won't be more than 7 coming off a 53 point season, doesn't have the leverage, Jarvis has to be bridged, torn rotator cuff, torn labrum, broken finger, and he's only 22. You can't sign him long term when he's coming off a season with an injury list like that

Not saying he won't resign, I think he might but it would be beneficial for both sides to go bridge route. Canes look at it as a prove it deal, Necas looks at it like a bet on myself deal. As long as the Canes are willing to give him 1st line minutes and 1PP it might be the best course for both sides
