Not remotely Comparable.not only that Faber wasn't seen as big as trade chip as he would be now back then, the wild put in a ton to develop him into a top 4 guy, Faber was considered on the low end of the Kings defense prospect pool back then

Faber's ceiling was known, his floor wasn't. Minny developed him well, but that was known. Necas is coming off an almost PPG playoffs playing with Martinook and Drury, he's also a center. He offers dynamic speed Fiala doesn't and he's a year removed from a 70 point season, they're very comparable here.

A 2026 1st however likely isn't the winning bid.

Value wise 1st+2nd+4th is probably around there, but it'll be the least desirable of the offers in that range

Fiala was comparable to what Necas is right now. He's been very hit and miss throughout his career, Fiala, and Necas doesn't have the injury history, and Faber's ceiling was known. his floor wasn't but we knew he *could* be this good

And then immediately after the trade said B/B+ prospect will become incredibly overrated very quickly by the carolina fanbase (see Brzustewicz, Hunter).
