Description

Took a stab at some Pavel Buchnevich trade comps. All summer trades for top-6 rental forwards.

If you have any good ones, please share.

These are not offers nor recommendations...just some similar trades should the market be called for him. In other words, if you were a GM, these probably represent the *RANGE* of some of the offers you could be sifting through.

Honestly, there's not much in the Bruins pool that is intriguing enough. We would want young quality talent rather than quantity. Nothing really screams that to me

None of these comps make any sense, especially when you go back as far as 2008. Completely different way to trade now.

These are just for fun...going back further is just part of what makes them interesting. A link to the past.

I was tempted to go back to 1996 and use Brendan Shanahan to wings (for Coffey, Primeau, 1st).

..or 1995 and Kevin Stevens for Glen Murray, Bryan Smolinski, 3rd

None of these are enticing at all. Many of these comps are rather off. And not just because comps don't work when teams all have different needs and different depth charts and different situations.
