Jets should be all over that imo. Canes are probably one of the only teams that values Ehlers.

Necas is a pure center, but RBA shifted him to wing because he's not as defensive as he'd like. You got an option there.

Every time I see a Canes fan talk about Necas being a center, it always ends with "he can't play center effectively". So then I guess it would depend on what the Jets scouts thought.

It is weird with Necas. He was drafted as a center and it has been preached the last few years center is his "natural position". However, the first thing you can point to about Necas not being an effective center is his FO%. I also don't think he fit what RBA envisions as a center (faceoffs and defense being big factors) but in a system that allows more freedom, I think Necas can flourish down the middle, just needs to work on his faceoffs.

Yes, team system can have a pretty large influence on a players effectiveness at a position. It's frustrating to have a good player that just doesn't seem to fit.

I know you mentioned any team on Fast, but Flyers ain't the one taking him, not even for the famous FC.

He's not good in the dot and he sucks defensively. Not a center, better on the wing
