Unrealistic but a fun idea from the Sens perspective. I know the Kings like many other teams are hurting at RD, especially with the potential loss of Roy in FA.

Sens would likely pick a RD at #7 but if Brandt was in this class he'd be going #2 overall without a doubt. Sens get their top pairing RD of the future at a big cost but I think worth it.

Sens fans who are unfamiliar with Brandt will say it's an overpayment, Kings fans will likely decline. Kings get Ridly who's versatile LW/C, whatever they need him to do. Menace on the ice, will torment opposing teams star players, lay down the hammer on dudes like Debrincat and still skilled enough to be an eventual legitimate 50+ point player imo.

Wouldn't trade him for many players but Brandt is that dude.

Sens look to see if Hayton can fill the shoes of Ridly on the 3rd line, and also bring in Bjugstad to bring size into the middle 6.

We look to move Chabot before his M-NTC kicks in. Not sure if ARZ would want Chabby, but they have the cap and Chabby would fit in nicely to their top 4.
